43km TEAM OPTIONS

Our aim is to help every team cross the finish line, so there are a number of options that your team can choose from.

4 Walkers + 1 Support Crew

4 team members who train and plan to complete the entire 43km distance.

Remaining team member participates in some training to ensure s/he can complete a section in the case a walker becomes injured or fatigued.

They will also act as the support crew throughout the event.

3 x 43km Walkers
+ 2 x Half Course Walkers

3 team members who train and plan to complete the entire 43km distance.

Remaining 2 team members train and plan to complete half the course each – they may alternate sections at each Wellness Stop.

They will also act as support crew when not on course.

43km Relay Team (5 Walkers)

All 5 team members participate, with a roster set up for who will walk each section and who will act as the support crew.

An example of how this could work is below.

Regardless of whatever option your team decides to adopt, we encourage all team mates to meet at the end of the trail and walk the final metres across the finish line together.
